Tour Fees
At 50% For The
People we work a bit differently when it comes
to the Project Fee.
We have found we are able to run these amazing
28 day tours, and locally-based projects, for
50% of what most major volunteer organisations
ask for a month-long package, and this allows
us to use the remaining 50% to have an un-precedented
& drastic impact on the upliftment of the
communities we work with.
This 50% generated by the volunteers on each trip
amounts to nearly £6000 for a group of 6
volunteers, which, when converted to South African
Rands, is a staggering amount of money to go to
the aid of improving the 3 cash-strapped communities
we volunteer with.
The 28-day Tour Project
Fee is R29000 (+-£1999

A 20% deposit is required
to book a space on a tour, or placement in
a fixed-location Program, payable to 50% For
The People's bank account in South Africa
or England. Tours cancelled up to 30 days
prior to day of departure receive a 100% deposit
Prospective volunteers should check to see
the next
available tour and fill out the Application
Form. A representative of 50%FTP will be in
contact to confirm your application and arrange
